James W. Perdue, 65, Austin, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, from injuries sustained in a fall while on a roofing project. James was born January 20, 1950, in Haskell, Texas and was a lifelong Texas resident. He worked as a roofer & contractor and a karaoke DJ (KJ). He is survived by his mother, Lucille Arney, Big Spring; son, Brian Self and wife, Tina, Waco; daughter Cheryl Gray and husband Jeff, Annandale, Virginia; son Jack Perdue and wife Amy, Birmingham, Alabama; grandchildren Ashleigh, Joshua, Jedidiah, Eric & Melody; nephews & nieces. He is preceded in death by siblings, Genice Arney, Doyle Perdue & Gary Perdue; father James Emil Perdue; step-father Jack Arney.
