Last Saturday's preliminary was the final qualifying contest for the "Grande Finale' " which netted us one more contestant, making a total of ten who are qualified for the money part of the contest! I am very proud of all who applied themselves to share in this. So far as I am concerned you were winners, if you tried! I try very hard to make the contests as fair as possible. Many of you have lovely voices, others have OK voices but are better at entertaining; so, the format we use in a contest which looks at all aspects of a performance gives all a fair shot, if we use what the judges are looking for. So let's enthusiastically support them this Saturday night by being there
by 10 PM when the contest starts.
Last Saturday's 1st thru 3rd place winners were:
first place: Johanna
second place: Gretchen
third place: Tim
