Tuesday at the Water Tank:
Quoting Guy Paul(GP), ''A busy night with many familiar faces....Mark wasn't there to claim the 50 dollar tab, so next week it will be $75. to___________'' Thus, if you weren't a winner this past week, you may win $25.00 more this coming Tuesday provided you sang last Tuesday!

Wednesday at Water Tank, Too in Pflugerville:
GP says,"Not so busy, but not terrible. I had 18 singers, but not all at the same time. It sorta went in shifts. AC claimed the 50 dollar tab . . . next week__________ name was drawn..."
"AC cracked me up tonight singing a modified version of a Conway Twitty song (in honor of my weight gain, post-smoking) "You've Never Been This Fat Before." I stayed till closing with Daniel and AC just trying out harmonies and having fun. That's made Wednesdays a positive thing, knowing that I determine the cut-off
Nice to see Kim again."

Thursday at the Canary Roost:
Good night with an early start but still lots of room for early singers. Really good performances later in the evening. Excellent mix of genre!

Friday at the Water Tank:
Pleasant show all night but probably the smallest number of singers and audience I have seen for a Friday in 10 years. It was like someone had put a sign saying, "singers and audience unneeded"! Hopefully it was just one of those summer season shows which we didn't have all summer. Remember that even though all advertising, including my web site, say that we start at 8 PM, if I have at least three singers, I will start at 7:30 PM! We did get to meet and hear "Twiggy" sing! Thanks to his friend and our singer, Austin!

Saturday at the Water Tank:
Really pleasant night but short in numbers, both singers and audience. Had singers that I had not seen or heard for some time which made it a really pleasant night. I think it was just time to slow down for a bit before the fall crowd starts. Meanwhile, mark Fridays and Saturdays as good dates for more stage time friendly until the fall and winter bunch start filling the club!

Tks, rj
