WCM Entertainment, managed by Walt Franklin, who, with his family have provided musical entertainment throughout Central Texas since 1986. Walt and his daughter Carrie and grandson Michael, have been on the Karaoke scene for over 12 years. Using the best sound equipment available, Walt’s daughter Carrie Barron and grandson Mike Holler, two of the best singers around combining their individual singing talents into the best shows in the area, providing the greatest fun filled and entertaining Karaoke show with the excitement and opportunity to sing that every Karaoke singer looks for. If you are new to the Karaoke scene or maybe a little timid with singing in front of a crowd, Carrie and Mike are there ready to help and guide you in singing your choice of songs. Although WCM Entertainment has many thousands of songs to choose from, Walt continually updates their list with all the latest and greatest songs available and promises that if you can’t find your song, he will try to get it for you. WCM specializes in any type of party or event I.e. corporate, family reunions, picnics, weddings etc. with KJ, DJ, or just a complete entertaining show performed by Carrie or Mike. Carrie’s Mother and Mike’s Grandmother, Wanda, was one of the great Griffin Sisters who were popular in the 40’s and 50’s, so they have a family history of musical talent. Carrie and Mike also have sisters who are gifted singers and all together sang as a family at concerts throughout Central Texas in the 80’s and 90’s. Carrie and her sister worked and sang at the once popular Country Dinner Playhouse of Austin in the 80’s. Carrie has the kind of voice that everyone loves to listen to and can sing songs that range from popular singers like Celine Dion to country divas like Faith Hill. You can always hear the joy and pleasure Carrie gets out of her singing with every song she sings. Mike has the vocal range that allows him to sing almost anything from country to rock’n’roll. His Karaoke groupie’s and fans are always requesting various songs for him to sing. Aside from their talents, Carrie and Mike are two experienced KJ’s that do their utmost to give everyone a chance to sing and help those singers who are singing for the first time or may be a little timid. We must warn you though, because there are times we have so many people at the show wanting to sing, and everyone gets to sing, talented or not, rotations are sometimes long but we try and work everybody in for the opportunity to become a Karaoke star. And an added note, if you ask Walt to sing, he will dazzle you with such songs that Jim Reeves made popular. |
